Named after the neighboring forest village of Reni Pani in the foothills of the Satpura range, Reni Pani Jungle Lodge is one of Central India’s most celebrated conservation-focused wilderness stays. Structures are thoughtfully dispersed along the banks of a seasonal forest stream (nallah) and across rolling hillocks to maximize privacy and preserve natural animal corridors. Utilizing local stone, rough-hewn timber, mud plaster, and canvas, the lodge blends seamlessly into the surrounding teak, mahua, and palas woodlands.
Accommodations comprise 12 custom-designed cottages and luxury tents spread across three distinct topographies: Nallah Cottages set along the seasonal stream, Hilltop Cottages offering panoramic views of the Satpura hills, and stilted Luxury Canvas Tents featuring wide timber decks suspended in the forest canopy. Each unit features high ceilings, earth-toned interiors, air conditioning, artisanal furniture, and spacious stone bathrooms with open-to-sky showers.
Gastronomy at Reni Pani centers around Gol Ghar, the central, open-air octagonal dining hall overlooking the forest.
