Before Levistay existed, we spent years exploring Rajasthan’s luxury hospitality from the inside—working closely with remarkable properties, understanding their stories and watching travellers search for places that truly matched the journeys they dreamed of.
Along the way, one truth became impossible to ignore. Some of Rajasthan’s finest hotels remained quietly overlooked, while others attracted attention simply because they were easier to discover. Exceptional experiences were often hidden behind outdated websites, limited visibility or the absence of a famous brand.
We realised the problem wasn’t a lack of extraordinary places. It was a lack of thoughtful curation.
That belief became the foundation of Levistay.
Rather than listing hundreds of luxury hotels, we set out to build a carefully edited collection where every recommendation earns its place through genuine character, unforgettable experiences and uncompromising quality.
The philosophy behind Levistay was shaped through years spent working alongside Rajasthan’s luxury hospitality industry—giving us the perspective to recognise not only the celebrated icons, but also the remarkable places that deserve to be discovered.

Would we confidently recommend this stay to someone we care about?
If the answer isn’t an immediate yes, the property doesn’t become part of our collection.
To remove subjectivity from that decision, we developed the Levistay Five-Test Framework—a clear editorial standard that every property must satisfy before it earns its place.
These tests don’t exist to make our collection smaller.
They exist to ensure every recommendation carries the same level of confidence, consistency and care.
Because trust isn’t built by offering more choices.
It’s built by standing behind every one of them.

- The Story Test: Does the property have a story worth telling—one that gives guests a genuine reason to remember it? If it lacks a story, it lacks a soul.
- The Destination Test: Is the property inseparable from its landscape? Would the experience be meaningless if the property were moved elsewhere?
- The Experience Test: Does it offer at least one singular experience—a ritual, a view, or a service—unavailable anywhere else?
- The Luxury Test: Does the experience consistently reflect the level of luxury it promises? We evaluate intuitive hospitality, thoughtful details and service that feels genuinely exceptional.
- The Pride Test: Would we personally recommend this to our most discerning peer without a second of hesitation? We don’t list hotels; we stake our reputation.
If a property fails even one test, it doesn’t become part of our collection. No paid placements. No exceptions. Every recommendation must earn its place.
