The architecture blends classic African safari tenting with rural Central Indian farm simplicity. Built on elevated timber platforms under the shade of ancient trees, the luxury tents feature rolling canvas walls, reclaimed wood, and hand-loomed natural textiles. The camp’s centerpiece is a towering banyan tree around which the open-air lounge, library, and pool are thoughtfully arranged.
Accommodations comprise 10 luxury safari tents with wrap-around canvas walls that can be rolled up to reveal sweeping views of the surrounding forest and farmland. Interiors feature hardwood furniture, plush bedding, vintage campaign accents, and spacious en-suite bathrooms with stone counters and hot-water rain showers. For a truly singular experience, guests can opt to spend a night on a Machan—an open-air starbed platform set high above a nearby farmer’s field under the starlit sky.

Meals are served family-style under the shade of the main banyan tree, around a central evening bonfire pit, or as romantic lantern-lit bush dinners in private fields. Ingredients are sourced directly from the camp’s organic garden and neighboring Jamtara village farmers.
Days at the camp are dictated by the peaceful rhythms of Pench. Guests embark on morning and afternoon 4×4 open-top safaris through the quiet Jamtara gate to track wild Bengal tigers, leopards, wild dogs (dholes), and sloth bears. Between safaris, guests can take guided village walks through Jamtara, go birdwatching along seasonal riverbeds, or unwind by the outdoor swimming pool.
