But India does not end at Rajasthan’s borders. The backwaters of Kerala, the mountain lodges of Himachal Pradesh, the wildlife sanctuaries of Madhya Pradesh, the coastal estates of Goa — India holds extraordinary luxury experiences in every direction. Everything you need to know about how Levistay curates properties across India.
Completely. The five-point curation test we apply to every Rajasthan property applies without exception to every property outside Rajasthan. The price floor — ₹15,000 per night minimum — remains consistent across all destinations and all regions. The only thing that changes between regions is the landscape, the culture and the specific experiences on offer. The quality standard and the personal service are identical everywhere.
Direct personal knowledge — the same way we developed our Rajasthan expertise. Before we list any property in a new region, we have researched it extensively, understood the destination thoroughly and assessed the properties we intend to recommend. We do not list a destination we cannot personally vouch for.
Absolutely — and many of our guests do exactly this. A journey combining Jaisalmer in the Thar Desert with the backwaters of Kerala or the forests of Madhya Pradesh is something we are well placed to coordinate from start to finish.
The properties we curate in Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal meet exactly the same five-point standard as our India properties. What makes this region distinct is that it serves guests whose journey naturally extends beyond India — often guests combining a Rajasthan circuit with a Bhutan mountain experience or a Sri Lanka coastal retreat. Our knowledge of these destinations is personal and direct.
Yes — our collection spans all seven regions. Each region page shows the properties we currently curate there. As new properties pass our five-point standard in any region, they are added to the collection. We never hold back a qualified property and we never add one that does not genuinely deserve its place.

Each region page has specific best time to visit guidance for that destination. As a general rule — October to March covers most of India comfortably. The exception is the Northeast which is spectacular in spring (March to May) and post-monsoon (September to November). Kerala and the Verdant South can be visited year-round with the caveat that June to August brings monsoon season — beautiful if you want dramatic green landscapes. We are always happy to advise on timing personally based on your specific dates.
The best desert properties operate with genuine sensitivity to the fragile desert ecosystem. Sujan The Serai, through the SUJÁN Conservation Foundation, actively supports local communities and wildlife conservation in the Thar region.
