The rooftop infinity pool at Karwaan Jaisalmer is positioned to offer a panoramic view of the Thar Desert — the Kanoi visible in every direction from the water. It is the only rooftop pool at Kanoi. The pool is available to all guests staying at the property and is particularly extraordinary at two moments: early morning as the desert light begins, and at sunset when the sand shifts through its full colour range. High tea is also served at the rooftop pool during the afternoon.
Khad is a traditional Rajasthani cooking method that originated with the desert communities of the Thar — a technique in which food is marinated, wrapped and buried in a pit of hot sand and desert embers, sealed underground and left to slow-cook using the earth’s own heat. The Swaad Sessions at Kanak introduce guests to this tradition directly — the preparation, the burial and the uncovering. It is a genuinely rare food experience specific to the desert communities of this landscape and unavailable at any other property at Jaisalmer Dunes.

Kanak is located on Salkha — approximately 39 kilometres from Jaisalmer Fort and city centre, and 46 kilometres from Jaisalmer Railway Station. The drive takes around 45 minutes to one hour. Airport transfers are available directly through the property. Levistay can coordinate transfer arrangements when booking your stay.
