Terms and Conditions
1. About Levistay
Levistay is a luxury hotel curation and advisory service based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. We personally curate extraordinary hotel stays across India and beyond — assessing properties against our five-point curation standard before recommending them to our guests.
By using our website or contacting us for hotel recommendations, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Our Service
Levistay acts as a hotel curation and booking advisory service. Specifically:
- We personally research and select hotel properties based on our curation standard
- We provide personalised hotel recommendations based on your preferences and dates
- We communicate with hotel properties on your behalf to check availability and coordinate bookings
- We facilitate the booking process between you and the hotel
Your contract for accommodation is directly between you and the hotel property. Levistay coordinates this relationship on your behalf.
3. Your Responsibilities
When using Levistay’s service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your travel requirements, preferences and personal details
- Notify us immediately of any changes to your travel dates, guest numbers or requirements
- Read all information provided about a recommended property before confirming a booking
- Communicate directly with the hotel regarding any special requests or requirements at the property level
- Comply with the hotel’s individual terms, conditions and house rules during your stay
- Ensure you hold valid travel documents, including passports and any required visas, for your destination
4. Booking Process
How it works:
When you enquire with Levistay, we will:
- Provide personalised property recommendations based on your requirements
- Confirm availability with the hotel on your behalf
- Share all relevant booking details including rates, inclusions and cancellation terms
- Coordinate the booking confirmation between you and the hotel
Confirmation:
A booking is confirmed only when the hotel property provides written confirmation to Levistay and we communicate this to you. Until confirmation is received, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Rates:
All rates quoted by Levistay are as provided by the hotel at the time of enquiry. Rates are subject to change until a booking is confirmed in writing. Any applicable taxes — including GST — are as stated by the hotel at the time of booking.
5. Pricing and Payments
Our fees:
Levistay’s service is free to guests. You will pay the same rate as or better than booking directly with the hotel.
Payment:
All payments for accommodation are made directly to us according to Levistay’s own payment terms and schedule (you will receive all the terms with a payment request).
Additional charges:
Some hotel properties charge mandatory additional fees that are not included in the quoted room rate. Where we are aware of such charges — including conservation contributions, resort fees or mandatory gratuities — we will inform you before confirming your booking. It is also your responsibility to confirm the full cost directly with the hotel before arrival.
6. Our Liability
Levistay’s role:
Levistay acts as an intermediary between guests and hotel properties. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information we provide about recommended properties. However:
- We cannot guarantee that the information provided by hotels is always complete, accurate or up to date
- We are not responsible for any acts, omissions or defaults of any hotel or third-party service provider
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered as a result of your stay at a recommended property
- We are not responsible for events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, strikes or pandemic
Your contract for accommodation is directly with the hotel. Any complaints or claims relating to the quality, service or facilities of a hotel must be directed to the hotel in the first instance.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Levistay website — including text, images, logos, design elements, destination descriptions and property editorial content — is the intellectual property of Levistay or is used with appropriate permission.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute or use any content from our website without our prior written consent.
Hotel property images displayed on our website are used with the permission of the respective properties and remain the intellectual property of those properties.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or from your use of our service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.
Booking Policy
1. Understanding Cancellation Policies
The most important thing to understand:
Levistay coordinates your booking directly with the hotel. Your accommodation contract is between you and the hotel — not between you and Levistay.
This means the cancellation policy that applies to your booking is the hotel’s own cancellation policy — not a Levistay policy. Each hotel sets its own terms and these vary significantly between properties, room types, dates and seasons.
Before confirming any booking, Levistay will always clearly communicate the hotel’s exact cancellation terms to you in writing. We strongly encourage you to read and fully understand these terms before confirming.
2. Hotel Cancellation Policies
Cancellation policies at properties we curate typically fall into the following categories:
Flexible cancellation: A full refund is available if the booking is cancelled within a specified period — typically 48 hours to 7 days before arrival. Some properties offer flexible rates specifically for guests who need this option.
Moderate cancellation: A partial refund may be available depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made. Cancellations within 7 to 14 days before arrival may forfeit one or more nights’ charges.
Non-refundable: Some rates — typically offered at a discount — are entirely non-refundable. No refund is available if these bookings are cancelled for any reason. We will always make it explicitly clear before confirming a booking if a rate is non-refundable.
Peak season and special event policies: During peak travel periods — Diwali, Christmas, New Year, major festivals and school holidays — many properties apply stricter cancellation policies with longer notice periods and higher cancellation charges. The specific policy applicable to your dates will always be confirmed in writing before your booking is finalised.
3. How to Cancel a Booking
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking please follow these steps:
Step 1 — Contact Levistay immediately
Notify us via WhatsApp, email or phone as soon as you know you need to cancel. Early notification gives us the best opportunity to minimise any charges on your behalf.
Email: booknow@levistay.com Phone: +91 77 90 80 70 70 WhatsApp: +91 77 90 80 70 70
Step 2 — Cancellation processing
Once you notify us, we will contact the hotel immediately to process your cancellation request and confirm the outcome to you in writing.
Step 3 — Cancellation confirmation
You will receive a cancellation confirmation from Levistay once the hotel has processed the request. Keep this confirmation for your records.
Important: Cancellation is effective only from the date and time Levistay receives your written notification — not from the date you intend to cancel. Verbal notice is not sufficient. Please send your cancellation request in writing via WhatsApp message or email.
4. Refunds
How refunds work:
Once a cancellation is confirmed, we will initiate your refund according to the payment method used.
Typical refund timelines:
- Credit or debit card refunds: 5 to 15 working days depending on the bank
- Bank transfer refunds: 3 to 7 working days
- UPI refunds: 1 to 3 working days
Levistay will follow up with the hotel on your behalf to ensure your refund is processed correctly and promptly.
Non-refundable bookings:
If your booking was made at a non-refundable rate, no refund will be available regardless of the reason for cancellation — including personal emergency, illness or travel disruption — unless the hotel agrees to make an exception at their sole discretion. We will always advocate on your behalf in exceptional circumstances.
Levistay cancellation fee:
Levistay charges no cancellation administration fee under any circumstances. Our service remains free to guests regardless of whether a booking proceeds or is cancelled.
5. Modifications to Bookings
If you need to change your booking — including dates, room type, number of guests or any other detail — please contact Levistay as soon as possible.
Modifications are subject to hotel availability at the time of the modification request, the hotel’s modification policy which may differ from their cancellation policy, and any rate differences between your original booking and the modified booking.
Some bookings — particularly non-refundable rates — cannot be modified once confirmed. We will always confirm whether your booking is modifiable before you confirm it. Levistay will manage all modification requests with the hotel on your behalf at no additional charge.
6. No-Show Policy
If you fail to arrive at a hotel on your confirmed check-in date without notifying the hotel or Levistay in advance, this is considered a no-show.
In the event of a no-show the hotel is entitled to charge the full cost of the booking and no refund will typically be available. The remainder of your booking may also be automatically cancelled by the hotel at their discretion.
If you know you will arrive later than expected — even on the same day — please notify Levistay immediately so we can inform the hotel and protect your booking from automatic cancellation.
7. Force Majeure
In exceptional circumstances beyond anyone’s control — including natural disasters, pandemic, civil unrest, government travel restrictions or other force majeure events — normal cancellation policies may not apply.
In such circumstances Levistay will communicate with the hotel on your behalf to seek the most favourable outcome possible, advocate for refunds, credits or booking transfers where the hotel is willing to offer them, and provide you with accurate information about your options and the hotel’s position.
We cannot guarantee refunds or credits in force majeure situations — these remain at the hotel’s sole discretion. We strongly recommend all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers force majeure events before confirming any booking.
8. Travel Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance before confirming any hotel booking. A suitable policy should cover trip cancellation and curtailment, medical expenses and emergency evacuation, personal liability, baggage and personal effects, and force majeure or natural disaster cancellation.
Levistay does not sell or arrange travel insurance. We recommend consulting an independent insurance provider or broker to find a policy appropriate for your specific journey.
9. Contact Us
